Q Practice Five -- Zhunzi Virtues and Nature Lessons • Points 15 • Submitting a text entry box or a file upload • File Types doc and docx This week, we are focusing on Confucianism and Daoism, the two indigenous religious traditions of China. Both arose about 2500 years ago. While they share many understandings, such as the yin/yang complementarity, they also differ. Confucianism seeks to experience the Dao and cultivate harmony and balance within the social order of human relationships. Daoism seeks to experience the Dao and enjoy the harmony and balance in the natural world. Our practice for this week is to draw on both these traditions [See the Content Page: Daoist and Confucian Practice]. Choose virtues of the Zhunzi or noble-minded person to practice in your human relationships. And, choose to spend some time in nature, learning the lessons it offers to all beings. So, your Practice Log entry for this week will contain some entries for each. This fifth practice in your Practice Log is due 3/30. Our goal is to practice every day. From your daily entries, choose five or six entries to copy/paste and submit as your Practice Log entry for this week.
